The Mars business purpose for the 21st century

It is our actions, not our words that matter. Our Principles in Action is about embracing new challenges and taking practical steps to make a difference we can measure.

More about our Principles in Action >

Our success should not be measured purely on financial results but also on the impact we have upon people, and on the planet upon which we all depend.

  • People - a shared difference

Making a difference for people and pets. Creating mutual benefits for Associates, our customers and consumers, and the communities where we live and work.

  • Planet - a sustainable difference

Making a difference to the next generation by responsibly sourcing and using raw materials and packaging, reducing the use of water and unsustainable energy, and reducing waste and carbon emissions.

  • Performance - a leadership experience

Making a difference through performance. Driving quality and productivity by constantly improving the efficiency of our business.
